Convert images from any format to any format
Drop a few photos or a whole folder, choose the format, and convert them all at once — at a quality you choose or under a file size, at the same size or smaller. Nothing is uploaded: the conversion happens in your browser.
Formats
Reads: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, HEIC, TIFF, ICO, SVG, PDF. Every page of a PDF becomes a picture, at 100, 150 or 300 DPI.
Writes: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, PDF.

Settings
- Quality or file size: for JPG, WebP and AVIF, a quality from 10 to 100, or “at most … KB” per file — the highest quality that fits is used, and a very small target also makes the picture smaller.
- Size: the same size, or at most 3840, 2048, 1600, 1080, 800 or 512 px on the long side. Pictures are never made larger.
- Background: for formats without transparency, the colour transparent parts get (white unless you choose another).
Hidden details such as the camera and the GPS location are not copied into the new files. One file is saved as it is; several come in a ZIP.
Questions
Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Yes, HEIC and HEIF photos are read and can be saved as JPG or any other format.
Is there a limit on the number of files?
No fixed limit: the files are converted one after another on your device. Very many large photos take a while.
Will converting to PNG make my photo better?
No — PNG keeps exactly what is there, but cannot bring back detail a JPG already lost. Use PNG for graphics or when you edit further.
Which TIFF files can be read?
Common TIFF files: uncompressed, LZW, Deflate or PackBits, colour, grey or palette. Tiled, CMYK and JPEG-compressed TIFF files are not read; the list says so.
Are SVG files safe to open?
Yes: SVG files are drawn as pictures, and any script inside them never runs.
Is it free?
Yes, free and without an account.
